The silver Nortons made perfect scores – making the 145 miles from Portland to Keene in excellent time….. arriving nearly 45 minutes before permitted check-in – so with time to spare and more.
The ride was very pretty and the temps were a high of 68F/20C dipping down to 56F/13C. We kept a relaxed cruising speed just below 50 – and on a short stage like this – we stopped just once for fuel.
Breakfast and lunch took place at Harley dealerships along the route and I was amazed by the crowds. Of course today is Saturday but dang – we were treated like rock stars.
The crew are working on the bikes now – and Ryan is TIG welding a broken bearing race for another team and – most importantly – tonight is Thai food.
